DVI Extenders

The Atlona AT-DVI100SR is a twisted pair transmitter and receiver modules for DVI, Stereo and RS-232 signals. The transmitter converts DVI, Audio, RS-232 inputs to a twisted pair (Cat5/6/7), and the receiver module converts the twisted pair signal back into the DVI, Audio and RS-232 data signals.

These extremely small form factor, UL/CE approved units will carry DVI video signal and HDCP/DDC information through a single multimode fiber allowing any HD source to extend signal up to 400m (1320FT) at WUXGA (1920x120 @ 60Hz) or HDTV resolutions 1080p/1080i/720p.

The Gefen DVIò1500HD allows a single link video signal to be extended over long distances by using multimode LC-LC fiber optic cable. Fiber Optics technology allows the DVIò1500HD to carry video signals over long distances that would not be possible with traditional CAT5 extension. The use of fiber optic cabling protects the video signal from electromagnetic interference (EMI) which can degrade the video signal.
