The new rack-mountable Cinénova 16-channel power amplifier delivers 100 watts RMS of smooth, clear power to each of its eight zones. RCA inputs for all eight zones are on the rear panel. A power-bus system handles zones that share the same input. Each zone can have two pairs of 8-ohm speakers or one pair of 4-ohm speakers. The Cinénova 16 has signal-sensing switches, gain controls, stereo/mono/bridging capabilities, 12-volt triggers, and 16 pairs of speaker connectors. The Cinénova 16 amplifier includes eight external room-gain controls for fantastic flexibility and user-friendly adjustments. The Cinénova 16 also features Earthquake's proprietary FFI circuitry which checks each zone for short circuits and then measures the intended load's impedance to increase long-term reliability.
